Help Andrews Heart Beat Again

Time is critical.  This is life and death.

My husband, Andrew, had to be airlifted from Carriacou on Tuesday morning after suffering a heart attack.  They did not expect he would make the flight to Grenada.  Against all odds, he did.  The ICU doctors say he is a rare and special case to have survived this long.  However, without treatment (unavailable here in Grenada), he will die.  He is somewhat stable with a direct dopamine IV into his heart, but doctors warn his heart will fail even on the dopamine without proper treatment/surgury. We have two options; 1. To airlift Andrew to Barbados or the USA.  Or 2.  Pull the plug and let him die.  So I am swallowing my pride, and doing what anyone who knows me is very hard...I am asking for help to cover the costs of a medevac flight to the USA where he has insurance.  He is awake, he is lucid, and we are desperately trying to figure out a way to get him home.  With a coronagraphy, stents, and an ICD it is expected that he could recover to be better than he was before the heart attack.
Andrew would have been insured for the medevac but when Covid hit, DAN stopped selling new policies until very recently.  We realize Covid times are especially tough for everyone.  Our own business has been shut down with the rest of the tourism industry.  With limited income and funds, we cannot afford the medevac flight.  I set the goal to take him to his cardiologist in Boston, as this would give him his best chance. 

So, I am just putting this out there, hoping against hope for what seems to be the impossible.
