"My back hurts." That's what he thought. He exercised more and ate better. "It still hurts. Maybe I have kidney stones." He went to the doctor and got some tests done. "It hurts to move." So he went to the ER. "I have a mass in my chest." It's stage four cancer. All of this in just a couple of months' time for an active man to find out he has cancer. Since his diagnosis in August of 2025, he has been hospitalized four times and has had three surgeries. He has double nephrostomy tubes and is wheelchair-bound. The cancer has spread to his bones and throughout his abdomen.

This is just the quick short facts of what feels like long, painful days over just a couple of months.

Andrew is a loving family man. Father to four beautiful kids ranging from 20 months to 15 years old. He has been self-employed and always giving a helping hand to anyone who needs it. Now he cannot work at all. His love, Amber, has been trying to manage taking care of him, the kids, the house, and work.
