Help Andrew's Fight Against Crohn's Disease
Deducible
My name is Andrew Inch and most of you know that I have Crohn's Disease. Last year my high school lacrosse team rallied behind me and we had a Crohn's Awareness Night during our lacrosse game. This year we are doing it again! On Monday, April 28, 2025 my East Forsyth Lacrosse team in Kernersville, NC will play Glenn High School, our cross town competitors, during a Crohn's Awareness game.
In 2020, I was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease. This is a disease that affects someone’s digestive tract. It can cause lots of abdominal pain, weight loss, joint pain, and fatigue among other things. Crohn’s disease is chronic and currently there is no cure. Lots of medications are used to slow the progression and help keep it in remission. This is an invisible disease and many people, like myself, struggle with side effects of the disease and the medication.
During our game that night, we will have several giveaways taking place along with a 50/50 drawing. All proceeds raised from the event and general donations will go directly to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation in support of finding a cure.
I would be grateful if you'd consider donating to help me raise awareness for Crohn's Disease. I appreciate everyone’s support as I continue to use my lacrosse platform to spread awareness. CHANGE BEGINS WITH AWARENESS.
