My dad has always been the kind of person who puts others first. As a devoted husband, he stood by my mom’s side through her stroke recovery, helping her relearn life and never leaving her to face challenges alone. As a father and grandfather, he's taught us to be independent and strong, always encouraging us to try things ourselves rather than just doing them for us. He’s been there for friends, family, and anyone who needed help—never asking for anything in return because he’s always believed he could handle things on his own.
Recently, everything changed. My dad became seriously ill, and despite seeing many doctors, no one has been able to diagnose what’s wrong. For the first time, he can’t work, and my mom, still recovering from her stroke, isn’t able to provide income either. Just before this happened, they sold our childhood home and put everything into a new place in the country, hoping for a fresh start. Now, with no income, they’re struggling to cover bills, buy food, and keep up with life’s expenses. The fear of losing their home is very real.
Even now, my dad doesn’t want to be a burden. He’s never taken a sick day, never used vacation time unless my mom begged him to, and he’s always been the one to make you laugh on your worst day. He’s an amazing person, and it breaks my heart to see him and my mom worry about how they’ll get by. I’m asking for help—not just for donations, but for anyone willing to share this fundraiser and spread the word. Any support would mean the world to our family and help my parents keep their home and get through this difficult time.
So as of now we have a diagnosis it is lung cancer and we are making the steps to move forward with treatment.
