My husband Andrew recently discovered that his cancer has returned, and the prognosis is daunting: only a 10% chance of survival or cure. He needs high-dose chemotherapy to fight this, but since November 2025, Andrew has been out of work and lost his health insurance. Now, we are forced to purchase our own health insurance, but coverage won’t start in time for his urgent treatment.
To bridge the gap, Andrew needs to begin chemotherapy out of pocket. We’ve applied for disability, Medicaid, Medicare, and every possible assistance, but we need help to start treatment and keep the cancer from spreading further. Each trip for chemotherapy brings additional expenses for travel and food, and I won’t be able to work while supporting Andrew through this process.
Your support will help us pay for bridge chemotherapy, purchasing health insurance, travel expenses, and even possibly high-dose chemotherapy while Andrew undergoes treatment. It would mean a lot to us if you can help, even with a small amount. If you can’t donate, please remember us in your prayers. We are staying hopeful, but we are more scared than ever. We want to think about the future and how much we want to grow old together—your support and prayers will help us get there.
