Help Andrew Recover from a Serious E-bike Accident

Andrew was seriously injured in an e-bike accident and needs surgery. With no insurance and medical bills piling up, we’re asking for help to cover around $7,500 in medical costs. Anything helps. Thank you for your support.

We are raising funds on behalf of our cousin Andrew after a sudden and scary accident that left him badly injured and facing steep medical bills with no insurance.

While riding his e-bike over the Blue Heron Bridge, the front wheel suddenly detached. Andrew was thrown to the ground at about 20 miles per hour. Thankfully, the bridge’s high guardrail kept him from falling into oncoming traffic — but he still sustained serious injuries, including:

Extensive road rash

Stitches inside his upper lip

A broken pinky finger that requires surgery

Andrew is now recovering, but the costs are overwhelming. Between the doctor, the surgical facility, and follow-up care, his bills are totaling around $7,000+ — and that’s without factoring in lost wages, since he won’t be able to return to work right away.

His mom is doing all she can to support him, but she simply can’t take on this financial burden alone while also covering their regular living expenses. That’s why we’re reaching out for help.
