On August 31st, Andrew (known to many as Ryan) was the victim of a violent attack. He was robbed and threatened at gunpoint. In a desperate attempt to save his life, he jumped from a train station onto the road.

Andrew was rushed to the hospital, where he was found paralyzed. Over the past 5 weeks, he has undergone two spine surgeries and two surgeries on each arm. While he has started to regain some feeling, he is still unable to walk due to weakness and the severity of his injuries. His recovery will be long, and he is expected to remain in the hospital for up to a year receiving intensive treatment and rehabilitation.

We are creating this GoFundMe to help Andrew’s mom cover the overwhelming medical bills and provide the support Andrew needs to recover and regain his independence.
