Help Andrew Rebuild After Devastating Flood

With the recent storm surge that occurred on the evening of August 18,2024 the town of St. James was greatly impacted by severe flooding. Andrew's residence was left submerged under 2+ feet of water, leaving it uninhabitable due to flood damage. All of his personal items were destroyed in addition to furniture, clothing, appliances. Since this storm surge is not considered a "federal disaster", he is not eligible to receive any assistance from FEMA. Andrew has been serving his community for several years protecting and helping others as a volunteer EMT in the St. James Fire Department. He is also an acting Deacon in his local church. I have created this GoFundMe page with the hope that all who read Andrew's story will provide their support by donating so Andrew is able to rebuild his residence, and continue to volunteer his time helping others.
