Help Andrew Manage His Medical Expenses
Donation protected
My name is Andrew. A few months ago, I had just finished my sophomore year of college, and I was planning on entering the Korean military to serve my country, then return to the States and finish my education. I had plans and lots of hopes for what was to come in the future.
At the beginning of July, however, a doctor's visit changed everything.
I have chronic hepatitis.
I have never drunk alcohol in my life. I have never smoked, never did drugs, nothing. Yet I have a liver that's worse than the average college student.
My plans for the future are now uncertain. I am continuing my education, yet I spend every day terrified of what will come next.
Every day I have to take nine pills just to make sure my liver levels, like AST and ALT, don't skyrocket. If I don't take care of my body, the slightest neglect can cause severe and permanent damage to my liver.
I am terrified, but I want to believe it will get better.
For the past few months, I have been afraid to ask for financial help, but I knew I had to swallow my pride. The prescriptions are not the cheapest, I have monthly payments, not to mention all the medical bills from the past two years which have caused a dent in my finances.
I hope to be able to move forward in my journey in getting better, and I hope you can help me out.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Andrew
