Andrew Brammeier is a loving husband to his wife Rachel and a wonderful & involved father to their 3 young children, HoYoung (7), HoJin (5), & Sunhee (1). He is a kind and thoughtful friend with a bright smile and jolly laugh.
On February 28, 2022, Andrew was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Seminoma Germ Cell Cancer.
Andrew went to the ER on February 28th after experiencing extreme back pain and leg numbness. An MRI found several massive cancerous tumors in his body. The cancer had already eaten away at his vertebrae, damaged nerves, and blocked his spinal cord. He received emergency surgery the following day (March 1st) to stabilize vertebrae T7-11; and a few weeks later (March 29th), he underwent Anterior Cervical Corpectomy surgery to stabilize his fractured neck. Andrew is currently recovering from both surgeries and is expected to begin chemotherapy treatment on April 11th. He will also need to have additional surgeries and rehab after chemo treatment.

Andrew and his family deeply love the Lord Jesus Christ, and their family trusts that this has happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. He is the sole financial provider for their family. Due to the physical burden of multiple surgeries and chemo, Andrew is unable to work for 9+ months.
We know that Andrew & his family have so many loved ones that want to support them. We want to channel this support in the most productive way possible. No amount is too small. Please help alleviate their financial burdens at this time to tangibly help with everyday living expenses and medical bills so that their family can focus on fighting cancer and navigating through these challenging times.
