On the night of October 21, Andrew stepped onto a crosswalk after seeing the signal light indicate that it was safe for him to walk. Just as he made it to the middle of the road, an uninsured SUV hit him.

Andrew was rushed to the emergency room, where he needed his head mended, his bones reset, and multiple surgeries scheduled. He will be recovering from two fractured knees, a broken shoulder, cracked ribs, as well as a fractured wrist.

Like many of our community, Andrew is a creative--he contributes beautiful video work and comedy sets, currently without the benefit of health insurance. Please contribute anything that you can spare to help him with (currently unknown) medical bills and the time he will need to spend out of work to recover.
