Help Andrew Get In and Out of Bed Safely

Hi! My name is Andrew Gurza. I live with Cerebral Palsy, use a wheelchair and I am severely disabled. I am in need of a new ceiling lift for my home. These lift devices are essential for severely disabled people like me to get in and out of bed each day, and they help to ensure that this is done safely and securely. These lifts are not funded by the government or any agency, nor are the seen as essential devices by the government. Over the last 6 months, my current lift has been serviced 4-6 times only to break repeatedly. When they break, this means that I risk having to sleep in my wheelchair or run the risk of being trapped in my bed.

I will be using the funds to buy 2 lifts; one that I will use daily to get in and out of bed, and one that I will have as a back up lift should my daily lift not work. This will ensure that I always have a safe, reliable way to be transferred that does not hurt the staff or the people helping me, and it will ensure that I never have to sleep in my wheelchair.

The cost of one lift is 3,495.00. I am raising money for $6,990.00 so that I can purchase the two. Please help if you can. Many people who need these types of devices, and so many others don't recognize how vital they are. Your help will ensure a severely disabled person can simply get in and out of bed safely.
