Help Andrew Get His Broken Car In Order

As many of you know, Michele and I moved to Arizona in December. On the way there, on the night before my birthday, an Uber driver smashed into my parked car. That's what you see in the picture.

Unfortunately, I had to learn to live with that damage because his insurance wouldn't pay for the accident (that he was 100% at fault for), and because I couldn't afford to pay the percentage they said I would be liable for.

But there was hidden damage — he cracked my radiator, which in turn blew my head gasket. Now, the car isn't even worth what it would cost to fix it. All the work I have been doing since I got here has been delivery work, and now even if I could get an interview somewhere else, I wouldn't be able to get there, let alone to the job every day. I have been looking so hard for writing work, but nothing has presented itself that I was capable of doing.

I need to pay rent. I need to buy food. I need to do work. I need something to drive.

The amount of this fundraiser would either cover most of the costs of repairing this car back to an at least temporarily driveable state, or possibly get me something used so I can get back to work.

It's kind of an emergency, so whatever you guys can do to help would be awesome.
