Earlier this year, Andrew moved to Seattle to pursue his dream job in cloud logistics—an opportunity he had worked toward with determination and heart. Every day, even when he wasn’t feeling well, he walked to work with a sense of purpose and hope. But something wasn’t right. Despite multiple visits to the ER, doctors continued to tell him that nothing was wrong, yet his symptoms worsened. His mother, Cara, immediately flew to Seattle to be by his side. While caring for her son, she was unexpectedly laid off from her job—another blow during an already overwhelming time.

Weeks later, after enduring growing pain and uncertainty, Andrew finally received a diagnosis: Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

In an instant, life changed.

Andrew returned home to Michigan to begin aggressive treatment and to be surrounded by the love and support of his family. Now back in Michigan, the Martin family is facing not only the emotional toll of Andrew’s diagnosis and treatment, but the mounting financial burden as well—medical bills, travel costs, and the loss of income all compounding at once.

Through all of this, Andrew has never let go of his faith. Even in pain, even in uncertainty, he continues to trust God’s plan for his life. He fights every day with courage, grace, and an unwavering belief in the power of prayer.
