My name is Ellie. On February 25th 2026, my little brother was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. What we assumed was just a nagging hockey injury soon turned out to be what doctors thought was a benign tumor. After surgery and testing and consultations, our family heard the word no one wants to hear- cancer.

This next year, my brother will face rounds of chemo and more surgeries all while trying to stay a normal college kid. My family will be making the multiple hour drive multiple times a month down to North Carolina for his treatments and hospital stays. All money raised will go towards medical bills and travel expenses so that Andrew doesn't have to do this fight alone.
