My name is Andrew Taylor and I am 17 years old. I was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma of the jaw in June 2024. This type of cancer is extremely aggressive and rare. Unfortunately it spreads easily and is often fatal once it spreads. I have been getting chemotherapy since July of this year and I just completed 35 rounds of radiation. Because the cancer is aggressive, the chemo also has to be extremely aggressive. Doxorubicin is one of the five chemos that I take. It is nicknamed “red devil” because of how harsh it is on the body and the side effects. Chemo and radiation are really awful. Because the treatment is so rigorous and my immune system is compromised I am having to miss my senior year of high school and had to quit my job. This means making money is kind of impossible. Most kids work their senior year to save up for college expenses, I can’t do that. I made this gofundme to hopefully put a little back for college as well as a little spending money.
