Help Andrew Afford Rent and Insulin
Donation protected
My name is Andrew, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing a difficult time. I’ve been managing diabetes for a few years, and recently the insulin my insurance covers has become unavailable due to a national shortage. The alternative types I can use are much more expensive, and I’ve been forced to ration what little I have left—taking only a quarter of my normal dose just to make it last. Now, I’m almost out, and I’m worried about my health every day.
On top of this, I lost my main source of income for June when a last-minute gig was canceled. I was just starting to get caught up on bills, but this setback has left me unable to cover my rent or afford the insulin I need. The stress has been overwhelming, and I’ve felt a lot of shame and like I’m failing. It’s incredibly hard for me to ask for help, but I know I need to reach out to get through this.
Any support will go directly toward my rent and the insulin that keeps me healthy. Your help will give me a chance to stabilize, focus on finding new work, and get back on my feet. Thank you for reading and for any support you can offer.
