Help Andreu Family

My friend Lazaro, who is 46 years old, unexpectedly suffered two heart attacks yesterday. Today he is undergoing emergency open heart surgery. This is of particular concern because he has other health issues and his work is labor intensive. Beyond the intense stress of having to deal with Lazaro's emergency medical condition, his wife Nitza is now left with the charge of having to care for their three young children, Lazaro through his illness, and her sick father. Nitza is minimally employed and given the circumstances, it is highly unlikely that she will be able to maintain a job at the present time. Lazaro was the primary bread winner for the household. Apparently, emergency disability benefits are not available despite the fact that Lazaro has been a hard working W2 wage earner for nearly 30 years. The situation is dire. Every little bit helps.
