Hello! My name is Andres Rodriguez, and I am proud to announce and share exciting news with all my friends and family. This summer, I have the pleasure of spending my Age-out season as part of the foremost Drum Corps organization, The Blue Devils. This group is the pinnacle of the drum corps activity as The Blue Devils are the 21-time World Champions, and to be a part of that has been a long-time dream. This accomplishment has given me the opportunity to not only further my long-held dream of reaching the top but also the opportunity to further my learning and study of my career in Music Education. I am always looking for new opportunities to gain unique experiences to bring to the table as I build upon my career, which this thinking has taken me through a journey through the performing arts. I am grateful to have participated in other groups in the Drum Corps International (DCI) activity, such as Arsenal DBC, Genesis DBC, and, this past year, Colts DBC. I am also building my experience through performance in Winter Guard International (WGI) with Allure Independent. Participating in these prestigious groups allows not just me but all performers to sharpen their skills, learn from renowned educators, and interact and perform works from talented artists. Nonetheless, participation and performance with these organizations do not come without a cost. These fees are associated with travel, uniforms, equipment, food, housing, and education, in which I ask for financial support to help me reach my dream.
