Help Us Secure a Stable Home and Catch Up on Bills
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
My name is Andrée, and I’m reaching out for help to secure a stable living situation for my family. My husband Lucas, our two sons Lorenzo and Lennox, our cat Ginger, and I have been relatively homeless for the last 10 months. In October 2023, we were priced out of our apartment, where we had lived for four years, and made the difficult decision to purchase a travel trailer to avoid complete homelessness.
For nine months, we lived in the trailer, traveling and relying on my remote contract work. Unfortunately, our funds ran out over the summer, and despite our hopes, Lucas was unable to secure remote work. As a result, we had to return home and stay with family so that he could find work in a brick-and-mortar setting. While we are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our loved ones who have opened their doors to us, we don’t want to overstay our welcome.
We’ve found a year-round campsite nearby where we can stay, and we’re relieved to learn that the new ownership only requires the first month’s rent, which is $1,275.00. In addition to securing this space, we are also behind on bills amounting to $3,475.00.
We are humbly asking for your support to help us raise $4,750.00. These funds will go directly toward:
First month's rent at the year-round campsite: $1,275.00
Overdue bills: $3,475.00
Your generosity will allow us to secure a stable home, catch up on our financial obligations, and move forward with our lives. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference.
If you can’t contribute financially, we would be so grateful if you could share our story with others who might be able to help. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and support during this difficult time.
With gratitude,
Andrée, Lucas, Lorenzo, Lennox, and Ginger
