Support Andrea With Her $200k Cancer Struggle

My name is Strat Parrott, son of Andrea Sells.

In Dec 2024, my mother was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. This came as a surprise from a standard annual screening.

Working in a small doctor's office as the office manager full-time, she began treatment and continued to work. It’s nearly $25k+ per month for one of her pills, which has no alternative treatment.

Shortly after beginning treatment, her insurer, Blue Cross Blue Shield, dropped her office, citing its small size.

She opted not to, or was unable to, continue with a bone marrow transplant.

Over the recent Memorial Day weekend, she visited my family in Chattanooga and fell on a curb, breaking her leg in three places. She spent 9 hours in the ER.

We got her home, and she received surgery a week later. Luckily for now, she’s been able to continue working from home.
