On March 21st, 2026, around 2:00 p.m., Andrea and Rowan Zabinski’s lives changed in an instant. While they were not home, a fire broke out in their neighbor’s house and quickly spread, engulfing Andrea’s home in Sandy Hill mobile home park. In a matter of moments, everything they owned was gone—personal belongings, furniture, and cherished memories. Thankfully, some incredibly brave neighbors rushed in and rescued their two Yorkies from the burning house.
Andrea owned her home but did not have homeowners insurance, leaving her and Rowan with nothing to fall back on. As Rowan’s father and Andrea’s former husband, I am deeply grateful that no one was hurt, but now they face the overwhelming task of starting over from scratch. Andrea is temporarily staying with us until she can gather the resources to find a place of her own again.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference for Andrea, Rowan, and their dogs as they heal and rebuild. Please consider sharing this page to help spread the word. Your kindness and generosity during this difficult time are deeply appreciated. Thank you for supporting Andrea and Rowan as they work to rebuild their lives.
