Please Help Pawl Family Keep Their Home
On New Years Eve my wife Andrea, myself and our two beautiful daughters Taryn and Adalynset out by car for an emergency trip from our home in Michigan all the way to St. Augustine, Florida. Earlier that day we had found out that my father-in-law has Covid and fluid on his brain, and considering his age and the fact he is in remission from Lymphoma, his prognosis was not good.
By the grace of God he seemed to be getting better and was released to our care pending an MRI to ensure that the fluid on his brain was gone. There was no known timeframe for this appointment and my PTO has now run out and I have lost my job. Andrea who is a Registered Nurse in a Psychiatric Hospital is on the Family Medical Leave Act and is also not receiving a paycheck.
Despite these setbacks my amazing wife spent the next two weeks lovingly caring for her father until the stress and lack of sleep it was causing proved to be too much. Last Thursday January 14th, Andrea began having delusional thoughts and speaking erratically and the next day I had to make the gut wrenching decision to admit her to a psychiatric hospital with no known release date. To make matters worse, I nowrealize that Andrea over-drafted our checking account and I have very limited funds to live on while I care for her father and anxiously await her recovery and release date.
Please, please help us in any way you can until Andrea and her father recover and we can afford to get home and get back to work. May God Bless each and every one of you and from the bottom of my heart thank you.
Sincerely,
Matthew T. Pawl
