Hello,

I know there is so much going on in the world right now, especially with the recent shutdowns and truly we all could use help! And I’m sorry that I even have to ask during these times!

My name is Andrea, and I’m reaching out during one of the most overwhelming and vulnerable moments of my life. I’m chronically ill; I live with Dysautonomia-POTS, a disorder of the autonomic nervous system that affects my heart rate, blood pressure, and daily functioning outside of my control. On top of that, I manage a slew of mental health challenges that make stability even harder to maintain. Because of these conditions, I’m not able to work consistently, and even basic daily tasks can be a struggle.and currently managing multiple health challenges that make it extremely difficult to work consistently or live without stable support.

Recently, my situation at home became unsafe and abusive and I’ve been asked to leave. As someone with chronic illness, losing my housing so suddenly puts me at serious risk — physically, emotionally, and financially. I’m doing everything I can to stay stable, manage my medical needs, and build a safe, independent future, but I can’t do it alone right now.

I have applied for SSI, but as many people know, the process can take months, sometimes longer and without stability, I’m in a more urgent situation.

I’m raising funds to help me get through this crisis and work toward a safe, independent future. Your support will help cover:

• Short-term safe housing while I work toward long-term stability

• Medical costs for managing Dysautonomia-POTS and mental health care

• A small emergency buffer so one setback doesn’t leave me without options

• My ultimate goal: moving into my own place, where I can finally feel safe, stable, and able to care for my health without fear!

I’m doing everything I can to keep going, to take care of myself, and to build a life that isn’t defined by crisis. But right now, I truly need community.
