Help Andrea Keep Her Home: Emergency Funds Needed

Hello! I'm starting this fundraiser on behalf of Andrea Pentabona, a good friend who has always gone above and beyond for those in her community. And now I'm asking that same community to come together to help her. After several months of struggling to find steady employment and despite doing her best to cobble together enough income with any and all temporary gigs, Andrea has fallen behind as the bills continue to pile up.

She's now in danger of her lease not being renewed and losing the home in Somerville where she and her young daughter have lived for years. In addition, her car is in desperate need of repairs. The same car she needs to get to job interviews and will need for future employment.

I know so many of us have been in this kind of precarious financial situation before, where one domino falls and soon they all are. It's a terrifying slippery slope. I've known Andrea and her family for years and they're Good People (the best, in fact). Any small amount you can give to help them from falling through the giant cracks in our system is greatly appreciated. All the money raised will go toward catching up on rent, car repairs, and bill payments until Andrea is on her feet again.
