Hi, my name is Andrea Garcia, and I'm reaching out during one of the most difficult moments in my life not for myself, but for my son.

Not long ago, I made the brave decision to move from New York to Los Angeles to build a life with my son’s father. I followed my heart, hoping to create a loving home. Unfortunately, things took a painful turn. I experienced verbal, emotional, and physical abuse. After a particularly traumatic incident, I was not only hurt but also kicked out of the home we shared.

Despite the heartbreak and upheaval, I gained something truly priceless my beautiful son. He is my world, my joy, and the light in my life. We’ve been inseparable ever since. He is only a baby, and I am all he knows. Every day, we build beautiful memories together just the two of us and I wouldn’t trade this bond for anything in the world.

I currently work two days a week as I am back in New York, and that is a conscious choice. I chose not to rely on a babysitter to raise my child , I want to be the one who picks him up every day, who’s there for every moment, every meal, every hug. I’ve built my life around being fully present for him, so he never feels neglected only loved, supported, and safe.

Even working part-time, I’ve managed to provide a stable, peaceful, and happy home for us. We may live simply, but we are thriving — and most importantly, we’re together.

Now, my son’s father is taking me to court to fight for custody — threatening to uproot everything once again. I’ve already spent over $12,000 in legal fees to protect my son and give him the life he deserves. Unfortunately, I now face $10k more in court costs, and I simply can’t do it alone.

That’s why I’m humbly asking for support from my family, friends, and kind-hearted people who understand what it means to fight for your child. Every donation, big or small, will help me stay strong in this battle and continue this beautiful journey with my son.
