Help Andrea Fight Stage 3B Cervical Cancer
Donation protected

Hi everyone,
I’m Andrea Israel, 31 years old, from Iloilo City, Philippines. In May 2024, I received heartbreaking news: I was diagnosed with Stage IIIB Cervical Cancer—a painful and life-changing moment for me and my family.
I immediately began treatment at V Luna Medical Center, with hope and determination. Unfortunately, due to delays in funding, I was unable to complete the full course of chemotherapy and radiation therapy within the oncologist’s recommended timeframe. These interruptions disrupted the continuity of my care and, sadly, contributed to the further progression of my cancer.
So far, I’ve undergone:
✔️ 2 of 6 planned sessions of Cisplatin chemotherapy (July 2024)
✔️ 25 sessions of External Beam Radiation Therapy (EBRT) (August 2024)
✔️ 4 sessions of Brachytherapy (December 2024)
I am now under the care of a gynecologic oncologist at AMOSUP Seamen’s Hospital in Iloilo City. I was scheduled for an Extrafascial Hysterectomy with Bilateral Salpingo-Oophorectomy (EHBSO)—a critical procedure in the management of my condition. However, during the internal examination under anesthesia, doctors found that the tumor had already adhered extensively to my pelvic wall. Because of this, the surgery was aborted. Proceeding with the operation would have posed an extremely high risk of uncontrollable bleeding and could have led to further spread of the cancer.
Now, my only chance for recovery lies in continuing advanced treatment, which includes:
- Additional chemotherapy
- Tomotherapy, a specialized radiation treatment costing ₱27,000 (~$487 USD / $760 AUD)
- Immunotherapy with Keytruda, a vital but extremely expensive drug costing ₱201,000 ($3,600 USD / $5,400 AUD) per cycle. I need at least 6 sessions, totaling over ₱1.2 million ($22,000 USD / $34,000 AUD)
Where Your Help Will Go
Keytruda Immunotherapy (6 sessions): ₱1.2M+
Tomotherapy Radiation: ₱27,000
Chemotherapy & Hospital Fees: ₱300,000+
Labs, Scans, Supportive Medications: ₱150,000+
Total Goal: ₱1.6–₱1.8 million (~$30,000 USD / $45,000 AUD)
This has been the most difficult battle of my life. But I’m holding on to hope—with everything I have. I want to survive. I want to live. I want to win this fight—not just for myself, but for the people who love me and continue to believe in me.
Every peso counts. Every share helps. Every prayer lifts me up.
