Help Andrea Fight Pancreatic Cancer

Andrea was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. We know she's a fighter (and stubborn), so we're surrounding her with support, love, encouragement, and prayers as she fights. She and Mike have 5 kids and 5 grandkids.

All funds raised will be used to support the family pay medical bills, buy food and groceries, and help family in coming to visit to support Mike and Andrea navigate this new reality.

Andrea has worked at Hendrick Medical Center for 28 years, first in the emergency department, then as a nurse manager, and most recently in clinical informatics. She has been actively involved in United Way and throughout the Abilene community. 

Mike suffered a stroke in 2021 and is retired from the Wylie Independent School District where he served as Assistant Principal for 15 years. Prior to that he was a coach and science teacher at Mann Middle School.
