At the end of May 2026, I was diagnosed with stage four liver cancer, intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma. The news was devastating, and it forced me to leave work due to severe fatigue and the start of chemotherapy treatments. This sudden change has put a tremendous financial strain on me, making it difficult to pay rent, utilities, buy food and essentials, as well as needing auto repairs to get to doctor appointments, chemotherapy, etc.

This is my second time facing cancer. In 2021, I battled kidney cancer, and shortly after, I was hit by Covid pneumonia, which nearly took my life. Now, with this new diagnosis, the challenges feel overwhelming, but I am determined not to give up the fight.
