Help Andrea and Michael Achieve Parenthood

Support our Dream of becoming parents
Many of you know we have been trying to have a baby for almost 5 years. Since I was a little girl, I knew one thing I've always wanted was to be a mom.
But this journey has not been easy. Back in 2023, we found out I (Andrea) was actually born with MRKH, which means I was born without a uterus and ovaries. This all happened when Michael was deployed, so going through this while we were on different sides of the world was rough on both ends.
The chances of being born with this condition are extremely rare. I have been talking to clinics all over the world, trying to get into trials to be a uterus transfer candidate, but I do not meet all the criteria in some, and the ones that I do have a waitlist of 5+ years. In 2024, we were blessed with a friend who offered to be our surrogate, filling our hearts with hopes and dreams of achieving parenthood!
The problem was how to create embryos since I didn't have ovaries, I couldn't create them. We ended up purchasing eggs through an egg bank.
After years of hope, heartache, and a series of fertility treatments—including one surrogacy journey and the loss of embryos—my husband and I have faced incredible challenges. We recently completed a transfer back in January, but unfortunately, it didn’t take. It’s heartbreaking, and while this setback feels overwhelming, I believe our dream of becoming parents isn’t over.
We are now working with a new surrogate and we need help covering these costs. This journey is much more expensive than we thought.
Starting over feels overwhelming, but I refuse to let go of this dream. And this is why I'm asking for help. In donations, no matter how small, anything would help me rebuild and take another step toward bringing my child into the world. Every part of this journey will be documented, and has been from the beginning, so you can be part of something truly special—the chance to help a couple, a man and a woman who have wanted nothing more than to be parents.
Every person deserves the opportunity to love and be a parent. Take a moment to look at your family and imagine not having that choice. Everyone deserves a chance at parenthood, and we are simply asking for ours.
