Andrea Ackerman has been trying to figure out why she's been so dizzy all the time, passing out at times, for the past 6 months.

After a gazillion tests, the doctors finally figured out that she has a CSF leak (brain/spinal fluid leak).

There were abnormalities in her MRI (her brain stem is being compressed by her brain), so she will need to go for more specific testing (including a Myelogram). Following the testing, they will discuss the possibility of surgery.

Andrea is not allowed to work or drive or do much of anything until the doctors can fix her problem. She needs to stay in the horizontal position as much as possible, because if she's not careful, her brain can start bleeding.

Needless to say, this is all very stressful for her.
