The house was completely destroyed, and we are grateful they were able to evacuate safely with a few days’ worth of clothes and their documents.

Andre and Roda have been married for almost 15 years. They have a daughter, Coco, who is 11 years old and loves all sports, especially tennis, basketball, and volleyball, as well as playing violin and piano. Andre has been living in that house for almost 20 years, and has been working at the same place for the last 16 years. As you may know, my brother is on the autism spectrum, for whom routine and consistency is critical to provide structure and alleviate anxiety. They are devastated from how this tragedy has shattered their world.
