Last year, my sister Andjela fought and survived breast cancer. As the mother of three young children, her strength and resilience were truly remarkable. After months of treatment, she overcame the battle, but her journey isn’t over yet.

In October, Andjela will undergo preventative surgery on her other breast and reconstructive surgery. While this is a necessary step to safeguard her future health, it brings financial challenges that Andjela cannot face alone. As a dedicated mother, her primary concern is making sure she stays healthy for her children, but the costs of these surgeries are overwhelming.
