Help the Anderson Family After Andrew's Passing

With heavy hearts we start this fundraiser on behalf of the Anderson family with the passing of Andrew, husband to Rebeccah, father to Jacob, Samuel, Benjamin, and Faith.

If you are new to meeting the Anderson family, Andrew was an active member of New City Church of Champaign. He cherished his years of being a partner in youth ministry with his wife, Rebeccah. Andrew had a spiritual gift for evangelism and hospitality. He was outgoing, compassionate, at times a bit “goofy,” and he had the ability to make others feel welcome, included, valued, and loved.

In his spare time, Andrew was happiest when outdoors, especially when hiking, camping, or playing disc golf. When not outdoors, he could often be found cooking for his family.

He was a man who served God in many ways, including working as a counselor, ministering to youth and sharing the love of Christ to anyone blessed enough to have him as their Uber driver.

Rebeccah is a homeschooling mom who loves being able to teach her children and working part-time with youth in the Champaign-Urbana community.

On July 13th, Andrew was enjoying frisbee games with some of his friends and his family before his unexpected passing. Many of those who were with him recall the joy and laughter that Andrew was experiencing in these precious moments.

The money donated will go towards helping Rebeccah and their four kids during this time of financial need with medical expenses, funeral costs, living expenses, and ongoing needs that may arise.
