Our hearts go out to the people of Lismore and surrounding areas that have been devastated by recent events. So many lives have been deeply affected by the magnitude of these floods and people desperately need our help.

Our dear friends Anders, Daniela and Luna are safe, but the cherished life they were building has been turned upside-down. After a harrowing evacuation at 1:00 am in the morning, Anders, Daniela and Luna narrowly escaped to higher ground, leaving everything behind. Their home has been decimated by the record-breaking floodwaters that tore through Lismore.

I am a close school friend of both Daniela and Anders, having known them for over 25 years. We have grown up together over the years sharing joys and heartbreaks.
