Help Me Build My First Classroom!

This fall, I’m starting an exciting new chapter as a first-year teacher in a new district on Long Island! Although I’ve been teaching for four years, I’ve never had a classroom of my own before — and now that I finally do, I want to make it a warm, well-equipped space where my students can thrive.

The challenge? I haven’t been paid over the summer, and while I have a little bit tucked away, it’s not nearly enough to cover the costs of all the supplies, decorations, books, and tools my students and I will need to succeed this year.
