Help Support Sean Kelly's Road to Recovery

For those of you who don't know me I am Kelly Greisen. Sean and Neva Kelly are lifelong friends of mine. We went to college together 20 years ago and our families have done life together ever since.

On August 25 of this year Sean was in an accident that has changed the lives of the Kelly Family in many devastating ways. He was cautiously driving a side-by-side when a tire caught the edge of a rut in the trail just right and it proceeded to flip the vehicle into a multiple roll over, down the mountain side. We are so thankful he is still here with us because it could have been much worse.

Sean ended up with many cuts, bruises, deep lacerations, severe road rash, a tibial plateau fracture and a fractured fibula as well. He has endured weeks in the hospital, various tests/exams, stitches, days and days of wound care, various doctors appointments, lots of PT and two invasive surgeries. He is non-weight bearing for at least 12 weeks and as he puts weight on his leg to begin walking again, it will literally be one step at a time of months of recovery ahead. Neva has taken on the role of being his full time caregiver all the while homeschooling Gunnar and maintaining their life (activities, home, business’s, bills, etc). It’s a tough situation but they are tougher.

If you are lucky enough to know the Kelly’s than I am sure you have been blessed by them in one way or another. This family loves big - they always pitch in, give a lot, stick around and step up. They are strong pillars in every village - always willing to help support anyone around them. Now they are the ones in need - the ones that need to be taken care of.

More than anything I would like them to be able to put aside financial worry at the moment and just be able to focus on what’s next for Sean in his recovery process. Funds will go towards medical bills/necessities, as well as all household bills. Everything given will be used over the next several months for Sean, Neva and the kids.
