My family has completely lost our entire house, our pets, and almost everything we owned. We were awoken to the fire on March 23rd at 2AM from the master bedroom windows combusting in on themselves from the heat. The light from my windows was completely red as I was woken up by my parents screaming to wake me and my sister up. As the fire travelled up the back of our house, we had to immediately run down the stairs to evacuate the house before the rest was engulfed in flames to save our lives. Within 5 minutes of escaping, the entire house was set ablaze. We barely escaped with our lives.

Unfortunately, we believe our pet dog Bella was trapped in the house during the fire and did not make it. I am still searching for our cat Blair, as he is still missing and was likely outside at the time. I was only able to grab my phone and wallet before having to go downstairs through the smoke. My parents were only able to grab their phones, and neither they or my sister have any of their bank cards or identification. My mother's car was lost in the garage and none of us were able to grab car keys. My car also suffered external damage from the proximity and extent of the heat. Everything in the house is a complete loss, other than metal or stone less prone to melting.

Thankfully, the house is covered by insurance for some of the losses, but we have close to nothing at this time. Funds will be used to help me and my family start rebuilding our lives and with things such as the basic necessities, searching for our cat, cleanup, repair and replace damaged vehicles, regaining important documents, and bringing back a sense of a normality for us.
