Help and support for Cody after his accident

I wanted to make this for cody after hearing and seeing what has happened to him. I've broken my tibia in the past and it was one of the hardest injuries for me to overcome. Cody has a long road to recovery ahead and I know any help is appreciated. He is mostly likely going to be stuck in the hospital for a couple weeks in Utah before he will be stable enough to transport back to Denver so any donation helps. Cody has been a good person since day one with me and I will always appreciate that. much love and a speedy recovery to you my friend.

After some intense kayaking yesterday at the flaming gorge, we decided to head to the only place open to try and find some food. Met some local people in Utah and went to go pull crawfish traps with them and dude we were with took a turn too fast flipped the side by side UTV and on the 2nd or third roll my seat belt malfunctioned and ejected me. Snapped my femur completely in half and it came out the skin, got hella staples in my head. Lost so much blood. Lucky to be alive

Took a few hours before the medivac arrived to fly me to salt lake state university hospital where I underwent surgery to have a metal rod place in my leg.

The emt while waiting for the chopper almost killed me bc she enjected me with ketamine as a pain treatment and cause me to stop breathing.

Can’t express how thankful I am for Jessica Poist for being there with me and using her shirt as a tourniquet to stop my leg from bleeding out. And thankful for her for staying by my side while I’m still posted up.

It’s going to be a long recovery road but I’m really happy to still be here. "
