Hello, my name is Walter Coty and I am the brother to Caylin Coty. On September 1, 2021 Caylin was involved in a tragic car accident that initially left him paralyzed from the neck down. His spinal surgeon told him that he would more than likely never be able to use any of his limbs ever again. Since then, with the help of his medical team, family, and friends, he has gained more movement little by little. One of his biggest motivators is his 3 children (Charlotte, Caylin Jr., and Julius) and the thought of running on the beach with his kids again.

We are now in January 2022, and Caylin continues to thrive with the support of his loved ones and his larger-than-life personality. His positive attitude keeps us motivated to help him on his journey to recovery. However, his journey is only just beginning. My family and I want to get Caylin back to the beach. We hope to raise money to purchase specialized equipment such as a motorized wheelchair, wheelchair-accessible vehicle, and continued in-home medical support services.
