After overcoming many health battles, on September 9, 2020, Gale Dredge and her dear family learned the unbearable news that she has untreatable stage 4 cancer that has spread all throughout her body. The doctors have given the unimaginable prognosis of only weeks left to live. We are praying for a miracle that she will be able to be released from the hospital so she can spend her days in her home with her family and friends by her side. This news has come not only as a complete shock to her family but a great source of financial anxiety. Gale is the backbone in her family. She is an actual angel on this Earth who has quite literally lifted people up from their rock bottom time and time again. Gale and Holland have struggled financially for many years due to an unfortunate investment causing the loss of their entire retirement and savings. This has forced them to try to and sell their home unsuccessfully many times to help ease their stress. They will need help financially moving forward as Holland is not able to work so he can care for Gale. The last thing those who love her and Holland want is for them to worry or be burdened with even more personal and medical financial hardships than they already currently carry. To know Gale is to love her and to see Gale and Holland together is the kind of unconditional love that books are written about. And to see Gale with her children and grandchildren is truly the purest form of love. She is a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, loved one and friend. I truly hope we are able to band together and take some of their financial weight from them so they can focus on what matters most at this time. Natalie Underwood (Gale and Holland’s daughter) will be the beneficiary of any money donated so she can be the one to withdraw it and give the money to her dad, Holland to be used towards whatever he and Gale need.
