I was sick for a long time while doctors tried to figure out what was wrong with me. After an xray and biopsy doctors have me very sad and unexpected news... I had stage 4 cancer. It may sound strange but I was relieved to finally know what was wrong with me, and thanked God for that! I have been fighting hard against leiomyosarcoma for the past 2 years. This type of sarcoma is very rare, and doctors have told me it is terminal. I'm on strong chemotherapy,  and strong steroids to protect my body from the treatment. I have good days and bad days but I keep smiling and trying to spread love. The photo on this campaign is from a bad day I was trying to get through. I know many of you can relate. I'm a therapist, so I am determined to go to work so I can be there for those in my care. Although my doctors would rather I stay home I also need to work to take care of my little family. Some days I cannot get out of bed and I miss work.  God is very good and has been keeping me for the most part, I have great people who are encouraging, and my 16 year old son does all he can as my primary caregiver. I am not able to afford medical equipment, copays, but I need to keep going although I feel stress. After 2 years I finally feel ready to open up to others and ask for help which is a totally weird place to be for me since I'm used to giving.  I realize I can't do it alone,  and someone may be able to help me to carry this financial burden. My ultimate dream wish would be able to get a mobility scooter so I can get around independently and enjoy life,  and help more people when I feel good. A scooter costs between $2500 and $3000. Any help at all is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance!
