Help and Hope for Baby Natalie

Donation protected
There is no easy way to say this... On October 1st Hannah took her daughter, Natalie, to her 2 month check up. Everything was normal except she had very light, tiny bruises all over her body. The doctor thought this was strange and ordered a quick blood test. Hannah Weimerskirk and Jared Morss were immediately sent to Children's Mercy. After another blood test and a few hours in the emergency room the doctors feared the worst and said we were being admitted. Later that night we spoke with a few more doctors and our fears were confirmed.... On October 2, 2018, little Natalie was diagnosed with AML or Acute Myeloid Leukemia...

This is a very rare and serious blood cancer. This is not genetic and no one knows why or where it comes from.

Natalie started her first of 5 rounds of chemotherapy on Wednesday, October 3rd.  This is going to be a very long journey for Natalie and our family. Each round of chemo will require about 1 month in the hospital and if she is healthy enough, we will be able to go home for about a week in between each round.

Since her treatments began, Natalie has been a trooper. She is taking her chemo very well, but this is just the beginning.

We will try to keep everyone updated as things progress but we ask that everyone keeps Natalie and our family in your thoughts and prayers.

This gofundme page is set up by friends Tim and Lisa Moore. If you feel led to bless this family with a financial contribution, your generosity would be greatly appreciated.
