On December 1st, 2021 Heather Biwer received the devastating news of being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The following weeks have been filled with many visits to Rochester for procedures, testing and biopsies. Chemotherapy treatments started the week after Christmas and will continue twice a month for 4 to 6 months followed by surgery.

Heather‘s ability to work has been dramatically reduced, adding additional stress to this very difficult situation. Even with insurance, medical expenses

have accumulated rapidly along with living expenses.

Heather was told to expect nine months to a year for completion of treatment and along with financial worries, she is worried about "not being there" for her friends and family. Heather has ALWAYS been the one taking care of her family, whether it be raising 4 kids as a single Mom, supporting her Mother through her cancer battle that she eventually lost, or taking care of her aging Father as he struggles with a fall, hip replacement and life changing move to a rest home.

In TRUE HEATHER FASHION, she continues to work from home on the days she isn't feeling the best, visits her Dad several times a week (in a neighboring community) and is 1st to lend a helping hand to her friends, family and children whenever they need it.

It is now OUR TURN to take care of our friend, sister, mother, daughter, aunt, grandmother and co-worker.

Please find it in your heart to lend a helping hand to a woman who has given so much over the years to others, and although is struggling with asking for help, knows that this in turn will help her fight this awful disease. I also ask that if you are financially unable to help, please remember Heather in your prayers at night, as I know He is listening
