I will leave the orginal post. So much has been going on that I haven't even thought to update it here.

Matthew lost the battle in fighting for his life. He left behind a lot of people that love and care about him and we will all miss him so so much.

All donations are going towards his cremation and medical bills. We thank you all and are beyond thankful.

Our family is asking for prayers and support for Matthew Downing. Matthew is currently in the hospital fighting for his life. He has suffered total liver failure, kidney failure, and a 5mm brain bleed. The doctors have given him a 50/50 chance of survival, and he will need a liver transplant.

Matthew is the proud father of two beautiful young boys one of whom is celebrating a birthday at the end of this week. His children mean the world to him, and anyone who knows Matthew knows how deeply he loves them.

He has a long and difficult road ahead, but Matthew is a fighter. We are holding onto faith and hope that he will pull through.
