Our dear friend Lindsey (and her family) has been dealing with a major health crisis. Lindsey has been in the hospital since October 7th and on the 17th, she finally received a diagnosis of Microscopic Polyangitis Vasculitis.
From Lindsey - "the plan is to continue being monitored and given treatment for the next 2 weeks at the hospital and then repeat imaging in hopes to see inflammation around my arteries decrease. This is a real crazy and wild time - I really have no clue how I would have gotten this far without God, my family, and my friends. Do not take any moments for granted - life seems so hard until we learn how much harder it really could be. And I’m by far not in the worst shape of people out there. I love you all. Please continue to pray for me through this time and pray that my body responds quickly and appropriately to the medicines without future complications." This is the most important thing we all can do for Lindsey right now.
On the practical side: Jeremy is with Lindsey as much as he can when he is not working or with their sweet boys; Lindsey's mom, Cindy, has been with her around the clock; family and friends have been stepping up to help watch the boys. They could use any financial assistance for parking at the hospital, food in the cafeteria, and any and all other costs associated with having a loved one in the hospital. Prayerfully consider giving to this family who give so much of themselves to serve others.
Meals and other things are also welcomed: please contact Sarah Mayhew or Alison Gilmore.
Thank you!
