Help Ancient Ways Recover from Unexpected Expenses

Hi, we are Don and Sue, the proprietors of Ancient Ways in Oakland, CA.

We had a number of difficulties during COVID, and you, our community really stepped up to help us overcome in our previous GoFundMe.

Most of you have read about the challenges facing small businesses in Oakland, CA. Over the past few months we have had a number of malicious incidents here at the shop that have caused costly damage.

We have had several windows broken, odd things shoved through our mail slot (most recently someone shoved burning paper, luckily the fire didn't cause very much damage), and last night someone kicked in two of our big windows.

We have had to replace 6 windows, and have installed a new surveillance system. These expenses are unexpected and just a part of doing business, but we are stretched thin at the moment.

Over all, our business is doing well. But these expenses are catching us at a difficult time. So we are starting a GoFundMe to help with the costs.
