Help Anca stay in the US

Hello friends,
Anca here - I’m reaching out to you because I could really use your support during this crucial turning point in my immigration journey.
I attended Dartmouth College from 2016 to 2020 and have been in the US under OPT work authorization for the last three years (expired on August 7, ‘23). Unfortunately, I wasn't selected for the H1-B visa lottery this year and was laid off in April due to the economy. However, I have a chance to apply for a different visa - the O-1 as an independent artist and designer.
I'm facing financial vulnerability during this transition. Being unemployed for the last two months while also supporting myself in the US and my family back home has not been easy.
To prepare my case for the visa, I need to pay a $2,000 retainer fee to a lawyer. Since I'm applying alone, the entire financial responsibility falls on me, totaling $5,500 (with all the legal and filing fees). And I need to submit my application using premium processing in order to get an answer as soon as possible and that's another $2,500 - coming up to a total of $8,000.
This is my only opportunity to continue residing legally in the US. I'm passionate about creating value in the art and design community, starting my own ventures, and creating jobs for talented creatives. Your support is crucial in helping me overcome this financial obstacle and submit my case to the US Immigration Department.
Any donation, no matter the amount, is greatly appreciated. Every contribution will directly cover the associated legal fees. Thank you for your kindness and support in making my dreams a reality!
