Medical insurance in this country is a diabolical scam.

My name is Anaya, and I’m asking for help. Any help. If you know me personally it's not something I do.

Back in September I had a breast reduction, not for cosmetic reason, but for enduring years of excruciating back pain. 3 weeks after surgery, both my breasts began to split open from the nipple down. Worst pain in my life. The white meat was oozing out. It was unreal. By October I was on a “wound vaccuum”, basically to cover up all the exposed raw skin. In November, I had YET ANOTHER procedure to speed up the healing process.

While all of this was going on, I was lucky to still be able to work from home, but unfortunately only part-time, due to the inability of driving long distances. By this time, I was going to the doctors 2 to 3 times a week. In December, I had YET ANOTHER PROCEDURE (wth), where I was left with the decision to take unpaid medical leave from my job.

Now I am left in deep financial hardship. My health insurance says I’ve exhausted coverage. I owe 5.1k in just medical bills. Every visit has a $30 copay. They won’t cover my wound supplies (silver alginate dressing, wound cleaning solution, gauze..etc.. ) which is running me about $700 a biweekly. I’m not able to cover all this AND provide myself with basic living expenses plus my bills.

I hate that I have to do this, but I have no choice. I’m exhausted of fighting my insurance company with no avail. If you can find it in your heart to donate anything, it would be a tad more than what I have now, and that would make a difference. Thank you for reading this far
