Help Anastasija Lakic

My name is Gordan Mandic. My niece's daughter, Anastasija Lakic is a happy 8-year-old girl from Bijeljina, in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Her cheerful and happy childhood has been tragically interrupted by a diagnosis of high-risk acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Since September 2022, Anastasija has been in the hospital with her pregnant mother and has been receiving chemotherapy treatments. Unfortunately, the chemotherapy treatments have not been as successful as her doctors had hoped.

Anastasija's team of doctors is now recommending that she continue her treatment in Germany. Thankfully, the government of the Serb Republic, in Bosnia and Herzegovina has agreed to pay for the costs of Anastasija's hospital bills and further treatment in Germany. However, because of the status of her health, and her age, the hospital in Germany has requested that one parent remains with Anastasija in Düsseldorf, while she receives further treatment for the next 6-8 months.

Unfortunately, Anastasija's family will be required to pay out of pocket for the cost of living in Germany. This has proven rather difficult for Anastasija's parents because, since her diagnosis, neither of her parents have been able to work.

For all those who can, and wish to help, please help Anastasija. All donations shall be accepted on Anastasija's behalf and will be sent to Anastasija's father, Nebojsa Lakic, who will use the money to pay for expenses related to living in Düsseldorf, Germany. This includes rent, transportation, food and other necessities, as well as other incurred expenses.

Anastasija Lakic je vesela osmogodisnja djevojcica iz Bijeljine. Njeno bezbrizno i veselo djetinstvo je prekinuto diagnozom akutne limfoblastic leukemia, visokog rizika. Od Septembra 2022, Anastasija se nalazi u bolnici sa trudnom majkom, i od tog vremena, prime hemoterapiju.

Budici da lijecenje nije dalo ocekivane rezultate, njen tim doktora preporucuje nastavak lijecenja u bolnici u Njemackoj. Humanitarni fond Vlade Republike Srpske je odobrio sredstva za nastavak lijecenja Anastasije u Njemackoj. Tokom njenog boravka u bolnici u Njemackoj, neophodno je da jedan roditelj bude uz nju cjelo vrijeme (6-8 mjeseci). Troskove boravka roditelja u Njemackoj, moraju da placaju sami. Od kada je potvrdena diagnoza, nijedan od roditelja ne radi, i zbog toga, nisu u mogucnosti da podnesu troskove sami.

Obracamo se svim ljudima dobre volje da pomognu Anastasiji i njenoj porodici, u skladu sa svojim mogucnostima.
